Arriving at School
At Victory Academy of Learning, we encourage students to arrive on time, prepared, and ready for a successful day. Primary School students may arrive at 7:30 a.m., while Preschool students may arrive at 8:00 a.m. Before-School Care is available for families requiring earlier drop-off. Parents are encouraged to follow our arrival and security procedures to ensure a safe and orderly start to each school day.
Uniform
Our school uniform represents the pride, identity, and high standards of Victory Academy of Learning. Students are expected to wear their prescribed uniforms neatly and appropriately, reflecting our values of discipline, responsibility, and unity. Our School Policy Handbook outlines uniform requirements, grooming standards, and expectations for students.
Calendar & Book Lists
Our school calendar and booklists help families stay informed, organized, and prepared for the academic year. The calendar provides important dates for assessments, holidays, school events, and special activities, while our booklists outline the textbooks and learning materials required for each class. We encourage parents to review the school calendar regularly and stay connected with school communications for updates and announcements.
Extracurricular Activites
Learning at VAL extends beyond the classroom! Our extracurricular programmes encourage students to explore their interests, discover new talents, develop essential life skills, and build confidence. Through sports, performing arts, and creative enrichment, students enjoy opportunities to grow, connect with others, and experience learning in exciting new ways.
School Culture & House System
At VAL, we encourage students to demonstrate integrity, kindness, accountability, and excellence while recognizing and rewarding positive behaviour.
Our House System promotes teamwork, school spirit, and healthy competition. Students belong to one of three houses: Integrity (Yellow), Success (Blue), or Courage (Red), earning points for positive behaviour, participation, and demonstrating our school values. The spirit of friendly competition continues throughout the school year and culminates in our biennial Sports Day, a celebration of teamwork, achievement, and house pride.
School Menu
Our school cafeteria offers a variety of meals, snacks, and refreshments to keep students satisfied throughout the school day. While we recognize the importance of balanced nutrition, we also offer some of the foods children enjoy!
We encourage families to include fresh fruit and water in their children's daily meals and promote healthy eating habits. As part of this commitment, VAL does not sell soft drinks on campus.
